On VBC iplayer there is a clip of Don Partridge singing this live on Top of The Pops in 1968. I had not heard this for decades, I used to think this guy was really great when I was a kid. He was like a REAL musician not some mime act or some media created phony.
Sadly I have found out he has passed way.
The most important thing about this song is the way small things can be used to influence people`s mindset and thinking. He sings about a "LUCKY DAY."
There is no such think as LUCK. It it only something the ungodly, the ignorant, the uneducated and the superstitious believe in!
