On 27th/28th February 1942 British paratroopers carried out an operation to capture radar technology from an installation at Bruneval. It was codenamed "Operation Biting."
This must be the reason VBC are showing the movie "The Red Beret" on iplayer at the minute. Here is a documentary about the raid.
